Warranty

We are confident in the quality of our products and many items are covered by warranties. Below you'll find a list of all our warranty information.

What is covered under warranty?

The details of warranty for each product type are elaborated below. Details of use can be found in a product’s user manual. Our  limited warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damage. For customers in the US only: Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Nonet will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under this limited warranty. Nonet will then, at its choice, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In these cases, Nonet will be responsible for the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff that Nonet incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without Nonet incurring additional expenditure to gain access. This will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorized by Nonet. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of Nonet. If the item is no longer sold by Nonet, Nonet will provide an appropriate replacement. Nonet will decide at its discretion, what will constitute an appropriate replacement.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. This limited warranty does not, in any way, affect the rights given to you by law.

How to apply for warranty

To make a claim, please get in touch with us at contact@thenonet.com. The original proof of purchase is required.

Exclusions

The warranties are to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. For details, see the limited warranty conditions and description for each product. Naturally occuring cracks in the wood desktops will not be eligble for refund unless their impair the desk's function.

Desks and cabinets

We offer up to 15 years limited warranty for our desks and cabinets, unless specifically excluded in this section.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

In the case a product includes electronics such as motherboards and (touch) screens, we offer 3 years warranty for these specific components instead of any longer warranties that may apply to the product.

The warranty of motors used in adjustable desks covers 20,000 cycles or 5 years of normal use.

Follow our assembly instructions, installation instructions and care instructions carefully. The limited warranties do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or if the products have been used for non-residential purposes (unless otherwise stated). This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, assembled or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. 

Accessories

We offer 3 years warranty for products listed as accessories on our website, unless specifically excluded in this section

The limited warranty will pay for factory specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that existed when the major appliance was purchased.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

The limited warranties do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a hot and or humid environment or if the products have been used for non-residential purposes (unless otherwise stated). This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, assembled or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. 

Office chairs

We offer 3 years warranty for the office chairs for sale on our website, unless specifically excluded in this section.

This limited warranty includes defects in material and workmanship on the following components:

• Structural frame

• Moving parts

Moving parts are components with moving functions or adjustable functions. The limited warranty covers the intended function for the components of the casters, gas cylinder, mechanism, armrest and back rest adjustment mechanism.

This limited warranty does not apply to the product if it has been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

This limited warranty does not apply if the office chair has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment, e.g., bathroom.

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you must first contact us at contact@thenonet.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not the United States, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Damages

Please review your order when you get it and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong thing so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

No returns product

Please note we can not accept returns on the aroma diffuser, gift cards, and on-sale items. Contact us at contact@thenonet.com if you have questions or concerns about your item.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 3-day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within three days for any reason and without justification. As mentioned above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know whether the refund was approved. You will be refunded in the form of credits to be spent at our store. These would reflect the dollar amount spent on the refunded order.

We will respond within a week for the return request. Please note the whole return process will take 15 business days after approval.
